Every trip is skippered, and the price is for the whole boat. Going ashore is optional — you can just as easily drift by the dunes, swim, and be in no hurry at all.

Routes

Where we can take you

The lagoon is 93 kilometres long and shallow — four metres on average. Which means you can get almost anywhere, and almost nowhere gets properly rough. Pick a direction.

The shortest crossing

Juodkrantė

A quarter of an hour and you're on the other side. The Hill of Witches, the old fishermen's cottages, and above the pines a heron and cormorant colony you hear before you see.

The boat

Beneteau Gran Turismo 32

A ten-metre cabin cruiser with an enclosed, heated saloon and a proper heads. The lagoon is shallow — she draws 80 centimetres, so we get in where bigger boats have to turn back.

On board

What you get

A local skipper

Someone who knows this lagoon and where its shallows are. You don't need a licence — just turn up.

A heated saloon

If it blows or rains we close the doors. The saloon is heated, which is why the season here doesn't end in August.

A proper heads

A separate compartment on board. Nobody has to hurry back to shore, or plan the day around it.

Two fridges

Drinks and food stay cold for the whole trip. Bring whatever you like.

Swimming

Bathing platform and ladder off the stern. The lagoon is warm from June.
